Where To Find Your Paint Code

Be careful when using the internet to decipher your paint code. Most websites that say they can accurately match your code, are matching it to the paint name. That information may not be correct. Paint names are frequently reused, and can be used by multiple manufacturers. The most accurate method of finding your paint code is by calling a local dealership and providing them with your VIN #. OEM dealerships are the only ones outside of the manufacturer that can accurately decode VIN #'s, because they have direct access to vehicle specific build sheets.
